I was talking about folk legends and my Haruki story with Sam. She talked about “thunderbirds” in Ojibwe folklore and how they can come down to earth and walk about as humans, transforming their wings into a shawl. (I think that’s correct? Don’t quote me on it?)

So yeah I designed a magical girl based around that. :| This is part of my redesign of Megalow, if anyone here remembers my ancient Ashita and Yesterday comic. Most of the time she is a human girl (and a bird steward) but she is special in that she can be possessed by the spirit of a thunderbird god.

Also! She is now the villain of the story and I need to develop her a lot more because I’ve been developing Haruki’s character a lot and, by comparison, Meg is feeling a little vacant. :\
